Welcome to Our new Administrative Assistant

Ms. Traci Nelson has joined us as Administrative Assistant with a varied business background and experience in non-profit organizations, most recently with a local Art Center. She’s also a professional artist, small business owner and active participant in the handmade and independent arts communities in the Greater Philadelphia region. She’s looking forward to working at St. Peter’s and becoming a part of the St. Peter’s community. Traci is a mother of three and resides in Cheltenham Township. She began her duties on June 14. She will be a great addition to our parish community.

Adult Inquirers' Class This Summer and Fall

An Inquirers’ Class will be offered for all members (newcomers and lifelong Episcopalians) who wish to learn more about this faith community in which they worship and serve. At the end of the class, members who have never participated in the Rite of Confirmation and wish to do so will be prepared.
Emily and members of the parish will lead discussions on topics such as: Church History, The Anglican Approach to Scripture, Using the Prayer Book, and the Structure of the Episcopal Church.
The first class will take place immediately following the 10 a.m. service on June 20. The following classes will be set at that first gathering.

For over five years St. Peter's Church has maintained a very special relationship with five small congregations in the Northeast area of Guatemala.

Many interests, energies, and efforts combine to create the place of welcome and joy we know as St. Peter's Church. Most important among them is our people. Us. From the infant passed around and snuggled by many, to the 96-year-old whose stories are lovingly heard. We gather to be formed and strengthened in love. May our love extend, knowing no bounds and leaving none of God's children behind.
God of unchangeable power, when you fashioned the world the morning stars sang together and the host of heaven shouted for joy; open our eyes to the wonders of creation and teach us to use all things for good, to the honor of your glorious name; through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God for ever. Jul 15 Taizé Prayer Service 7pm. As is our custom on the 3rd Thursday of each month, we will gather in the quiet of the church to listen for God and sing our prayers in the style of the community in Taizé.
