PARISH MINISTRIES

Abundant Life
Individuals who encourage the members of the St. Peter's family to contribute their time, talent and treasure to further the mission of the church.

Daniel Memorial Library
Volunteers help keep the library in order and running smoothly, as well as order new books for the library as needed. The library is currently in need of a coordinator.
Gift required: library organizational skills, love for books and printed materials.

Education Committee
This committee plans the education events for the various age groups.
Bi-monthly meetings are held.

Everyone Ed Team
This group creatively combines to design our intergenerational programming.

Finance Committee
Even a place of worship has to deal with fiscal responsibility. This committee helps assist the Accounting Warden in managing our financial resources.
Gift required: accounting skills, investment experience.

Flower Arranger
Members who purchase and arrange the altar flowers each week.
Gift required: an eye for balance and beauty, a willingness to learn.

Flower Deliverer
Individuals who take altar flowers to our homebound and ill members after the church service on Sunday.

Monday Morning Crew: A group of volunteers who do minor repairs on our church building.
Gift required: handy person.

The Network Team
Composed of those who would like to get the word out about St. Peter's. They invite, welcome and incorporate new people into the parish family.

Office Volunteers
Administrative work to support the office staff including: Counting the service offerings, paying bills, folding, proofreading, putting together mailings, and computing.

Parish Life and Fellowship Team
Those who plan special events that bring the congregation together.

Prayer Chain
Individuals who pray for those on our prayer list. Many also attend the Wednesday morning prayer service at 9:30 am.

Property Committee
The group who cares for the property and grounds of the church. Members with all types of skills are needed. Meetings are held monthly, and work days on an irregular basis.

Rummage Sale Helpers
Individuals who prepare for, staff and take down the sales, held twice a year. Strong, young people are especially needed for this activity.

Sandwich Makers
Those who meet bi-monthly to make sandwiches for St. Mary's Soup Kitchen.

Social Action Committee
Develops outreach ministries to the greater community and brings concerns to the parish.

Thrift and Gift Shop
Volunteers who staff the shop. Thrift & Gift raises money each year to support both the St. Peter's budget and other outside non-profit agencies.

Work Day Volunteer
Twice a year, in the spring and fall, a group of people gather to clean-up the church building. Jobs are available for the youngest to the most senior member.

Worship Committee
Supports the rector in planning, designing and implementing worship.

Youth Groups
Young people from ages 11 through 12th grade are invited to attend youth group meetings on Sunday evenings or afternoons. The groups are divided by age, with occasional joint events.
