New Rector for St. Peter's, Glenside!

The vestry of St. Peter's Church, Glenside, is delighted to announce that the Rev. Emily Barr Richards has accepted our call to become our next rector. Emily was selected unanimously by the Discernment Committee and elected unanimously by the vestry. We are so happy to welcome Emily and her family to St. Peter's. We look forward to her presence among us as we journey together in our life in Christ. She will begin as our rector on June 15. Her first Sunday with us will be June 21.

The selection was the result of months of review, sifting through applications and letters, shepherding, telephone interviews, visits to the candidates' churches, praying, discussions among the DC members, and endless hours of meetings. Our church family is sincerely grateful to the members of the Committee for their devotion, care, hard work, and wisdom.
