COVID Policy Updates
As of April 18, masks are optional inside St. Peter’s buildings. Please know that mask wearing is still perfectly acceptable and is recommended for those who are unvaccinated, immunocompromised, or have cold symptoms. And live streaming of services via our Facebook page will continue. Other COVID-related changes at St. Peter’s include:
• In-person receptions after liturgy have returned. If you would like to help set up or clean up after these simple receptions, please contact Rev. Barb at firstname.lastname@example.org.
• The parish hall is once again available to the general public for rental.
• Receiving the cup at Eucharist has returned as well, though intinction (dipping the bread in the cup) is currently not an option.
• A COVID advisory committee has been created to draft guidelines around making changes in masking and gathering policies in the future (continue reading "COVID Safety Plan" below).

COVID Safety Plan
The COVID Advisory Committee has drafted an initial COVID Safety Plan. This plan lays out St. Peter’s strategy for maximizing congregant safety during the COVID-19 pandemic, while allowing for the return of practices important for the life of the church. St. Peter’s and the COVID Advisory Committee are committed to updating the plan consistent with the best public health practices, guidance from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and rules and/or guidance from the Montgomery County Health Department, as well as guidance from the Diocese of Pennsylvania.
