Parish youth and teens are invited to spend the night at St. Peter’s with a retreat that will feature games, activities, prayer and liturgy by candlelight on April 27 at 6 p.m. The Lock-in will conclude with breakfast before Sunday worship on April 28.  Click HERE to sign up.

Sunday April 28 - Come 4th Sunday, "Awesome Communion" Celebration

On Sunday, April 28 as part of Come 4th Sunday, we will have an "Awesome Communion" celebration, including music by our Folk Group.  Kids can dress up in any color they like and wear the stoles they made on Bread Day. They'll bring up the gifts at offertory and gather around the altar for a closer look during the Eucharistic Prayer and help break the bread.  In the Episcopal Church, unlike our Roman Catholic friends, children are welcome to receive communion after their baptism and as soon as they can receive and eat a piece of bread, so we do not have a special First Communion rite.  But on this Sunday we will celebrate during worship and after worship at a reception in the parish hall.

Tuesday, April 30 and continuing - Grieving Hearts Group

St. Peter’s, grief coach Stephanie Gill has begun offering regular grief groups at St. Peter’s. The next 6-week program will start April 30. The groups help those who have lost loved ones to learn about grief and listen to other's stories in a space of comfort and healing. The cost of the six-week program is $150 per person. Financial assistance is available. To learn more about enrollment contact Stephanie at sgill322@yahoo.com or 215-480-0358.

On Sunday May 5 following the service, the Welcome Team will host a luncheon in honor of all our new members who have come to St. Peter's since the fall. Sunday May 19 - Pentecost Sunday and Bishop Visitation

We will celebrate the Feast of Pentecost with Bishop Gutiérrez, who will be here to confirm, baptize, and receive members into the church.  We will also be joined in this celebration by our friends from St. James in Collegeville.  A potluck reception will follow immediately after the 10 am service.  As we embody the unity seen at Pentecost where many became one, we're inviting everyone to bring a dish to share.   Click HERE to let us know what you will be bringing.
