Saturday, September 23 - Telling Our Stories, Facing Our Whiteness

Starting Sept 23, the Diocesan Anti-Racism Commission is offering Telling Our Stories: Healing Wounds of Racism, Building Beloved Community, three workshops inviting audiences to tell their stories of race, racism and repair through the medium of Playback Theater. The first session, Facing our Whiteness, will be held Saturday, Sept. 23 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. here at St Peter's in the church. This session is designed for an all-White audience to share stories of learning, enacting and resisting racist beliefs and behaviors. Admission is $15 for individuals and $15 for a group of five or more. Click HERE to register and learn more about the entire program.  Or contact Rev. Saturday, September 30 - Boulevard Express Bluegrass Band Concert

Join us for an unforgettable evening of toe-tapping bluegrass music at The Boulevard Express Band's Bluegrass Concert and Warm Regards Fundraiser Event! Get ready to immerse yourself in the lively sounds of banjos, fiddles, and guitars. This in-person event will take place on Saturday, September 30, in the Parish Hall from 7pm-9pm. 

 

The Boulevard Express Band is known for their energetic performances and their ability to captivate audiences of all ages. The Band, led by parishioners Mike and Terita Reeve, who were featured in last years’ Rolling Time and Talent Show videos, are donating the proceeds from the evening to our Warm Regards Boiler campaign.

 

Whether you're a devoted bluegrass fan or simply looking for a fun night out, this concert promises to be an experience like no other. So, mark your calendars and make sure to secure your spot at this must-see event. We can't wait to see you there!

 

Suggested donation amounts: $12 for adults, $10 for seniors and $5 for kids 12 and under, which includes snacks and drinks.

Saturday, November 4 -Trivia Night and Silent Auction 

Enjoy an evening of teamwork and educated guessing on multiple categories from music to sports.  Then continue your support of the Warm Regards campaign by participating in a silent auction. More details to follow.

Tuesday, November 7 - Pierogis and Pies at the Polls

Suzanne Teleha will be selling delicious homemade pierogis and baked goods in the library on Election Day.
