Health & Wellness at St. Peter's
At St. Peter’s, we believe that caring for the whole person—body, mind, and spirit—is central to our mission. Our commitment to community wellness is reflected in a range of health-focused initiatives, including parish nurse programs, grief support groups, listening circles, an ongoing menstrual kit drive, and more. We offer regular blood drives, vaccine clinics, and medication check-ins, along with practical health tips through our "Backdoor Readings" series. Our building is fully accessible, and for added safety, our staff is CPR trained, with Narcan and an AED defibrillator readily available on-site. At St. Peter’s, health and healing go hand in hand with faith and fellowship.

Parish Nurse
Kristina Marchuk, a registered nurse at Abington Hospital, serves as the primary responder during worship services and parish events, while helping develop wellness and health education initiatives, as part of the pastoral care team. Join Kristina after service for tips top keep you safe during cold and flu season. Please email Krisitna at k_marchuk@yahoo.com to schedule a visit during her parish nurse office hours. Walk-ins are welcome!
Listening Circles I & II

Our two Listening Circles are always open to new members. Circle I meets on the fourth Tuesday of each month and offers hybrid sessions (in person in the library and on Zoom). Circle II meets virtually on the third Tuesday, both at 7 p.m.
Listening Circles create a safe, trusting space to practice deep listening and connect with your inner wisdom. We share personal stories, reflect on life’s questions, and use poems and readings to guide our conversations. Instead of giving advice, we ask open, honest questions that invite reflection.

Menstrual Care Ministry
Your generous monetary or in-kind donations will go directly toward:
Stocking free menstrual care supplies in each of our church bathrooms.
Provide these essential items for those that visit and utilize our food pantry and community fridge.
Supporting the Corinth 13 After School program, which serves children and families in need.
This ministry ensures that no one has to choose between basic necessities and their dignity. Thank you for helping us care for our church family and community in such a meaningful way.
Together, we can make a lasting impact- one essential item at a time.
Items needed: all size tampon and sanitary pad products. Teens tend to use light and regular size tampons. We can also use liners, individually wrapped hygiene wipes, and individual used products bags: link provided here.

We are proud to host annual Community Health Clinics and Blood Drives. Each year, we partner with the Red Cross for our “Give a Pint, Get a Pint” blood drive, offering a small token of thanks while supporting a vital cause. We also provide free, accessible care through our annual flu and COVID-19 vaccine clinic, helping protect the health and well-being of our neighbors.
Accessibility
We believe that every person should be able to participate fully in the life of the church. Our building is equipped with ADA-approved restrooms and an accessible ramp, ensuring that all individuals, regardless of ability, can enter, move through, and engage in our worship and community spaces with dignity and ease.
