Information and Resources
The Episcopal Diocese of Pennsylvania has created a web page of resources with information, including:
-
Know Your Rights flyers (available in multiple languages) outlining steps to take in three situations: ICE at your home, ICE at your place of employment, and ICE encounters in the community
-
A Know Your Rights wallet card for personal use: There are actual red cards available, but the printable cards are good to keep on hand continuously at your church
-
DIOPA signage for placement at building entrances and windows (suitable for printing, enlargement, or yard signs)
-
A guide for churches on supporting and protecting those they serve during outreach and community programs
-
A peaceful protest and de-escalation guide, including additional resources
The National Episcopal Church provides an immigration toolkit to support migrants, congregations, and communities. The toolkit includes resources to help you get involved, prepare your family and congregation, know your rights, connect with court accompaniment programs in New York, California, and Illinois, and access guidance on asylum, TPS, DACA, detention and deportation, new federal law impacts, refugee resettlement, and R-1 religious worker status.
Prayer and Vigils
Weekly Community Interfaith
Prayer Service in Norristown
In Norristown, a weekly interfaith prayer vigil is being held on Tuesdays at 2 p.m. In recent weeks, the service has been held at the Reformed Church of the Ascension, United Church of Christ. But in upcoming weeks, it is expected to be held outdoors on the corner of Marshall & George streets in Norristown when the snow is fully removed.

Immigration Resources
St. Peter’s will continue to uphold our parish’s commitment to the vulnerable and follow the guidance of our faith leaders to bring light and peace into the chaos of this dark time.
Below, you will find guidance on how to take direct action to protect people under threat of ICE arrest and detention. Visit our page for weekly updates, including information on trainings, prayer opportunities, resources and more.

Upcoming Way to Get Involved
Stations of the Cross: A Prayerful Walk for Immigrant Neighbors on March 27
.png)
A Stations of the Cross walk will be held on March 27th, beginning at the Episcopal Cathedral Church (19 S. 38th St) and concluding at the local U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement office (114 North 8th St). As we walk together (approx. 45-50 min), we will pray the Stations of the Cross, remembering Christ’s suffering and standing in solidarity with our immigrant neighbors and all who carry heavy crosses in our community.
This peaceful, faith-filled witness will be a time for prayer, reflection, and hope as we lift up the dignity of every person and seek justice and compassion. All are welcome to walk, pray, and stand together.
