Lenten Worship

We invite you to join us in these Lenten observances and programs as we prepare for Holy Week and Easter

Lenten Taizé Service: Tuesday, March 24

This beautiful candlelight service of Taizé chant and prayer invites all to enter the simple rhythms of the Lenten season on Tuesday, March 24 at 7 p.m. at St. Peter's.

Stations of the Cross: A Prayerful Walk for Immigrant Neighbors on March 27

A Stations of the Cross walk will be held on March 27th, beginning at the Episcopal Cathedral Church (19 S. 38th St) and concluding at the local U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement office (114 North 8th St). As we walk together (approx. 45-50 min), we will pray the Stations of the Cross, remembering Christ’s suffering and standing in solidarity with our immigrant neighbors and all who carry heavy crosses in our community.

This peaceful, faith-filled witness will be a time for prayer, reflection, and hope as we lift up the dignity of every person and seek justice and compassion. All are welcome to walk, pray, and stand together.

Contact Rev. Canon Toneh Smyth at Tsmyth@diopa.org for any questions.
