St. Peter’s Episcopal Church in Glenside, PA is seeking a part time director for its Sunday folk group, which provides music for our 10 am worship six times a year.  The folk group is a volunteer ensemble that includes mixed voices, guitar, piano and other instruments. The liturgical music is drawn from traditional, Gospel and contemporary folk music traditions.

The folk group director selects the music, conducts rehearsals, and directs the group on their scheduled Sundays. The position will pay up to $350 for each scheduled Sunday, including planning, rehearsals and the Sunday worship, roughly eight to twelve hours of preparation and liturgical time per scheduled Sunday.
