Vestry Approves Proclamation Praising Food Cupboard Leadership and Impact

HONORING RICK DEKALB AND TERITA REEVE, THE LEADERS OF THE ST PETER’S FOOD CUPBOARD MINISTRY
WHEREAS, food insecurity is a critical challenge affecting individuals and families in our community, and access to nutritious food is a fundamental human need; and
WHEREAS, the Food Cupboard was established to address this need, providing not only sustenance but also hope, dignity, and compassion to our neighbors in need; and
WHEREAS, the leaders of the Food Cupboard have demonstrated exceptional dedication, working tirelessly to collect, organize, and distribute healthy food to the community; and
WHEREAS, through the leadership of Rick Dekalb and Terita Reeve and the selfless commitment of its many volunteers, the Food Cupboard has successfully provided fresh foods and non-perishables significantly enhancing the quality of life for residents of our community ;and
WHEREAS, the efforts of this organization have fostered a spirit of unity and generosity, encouraging a network of donors, local businesses, and volunteers to support the common good;
NOW, THEREFORE, St Peter’s Vestry, on behalf of St Peter’s Church, do hereby commend and congratulate Rick Dekalb and Terita Reeve for their outstanding service, unwavering compassion, and profound impact on our community.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that all parishioners of St Peter’s join in expressing our deepest gratitude to Rick and Terita for their "Selfless Dedication to Serving Others."
